For Jordan Salins, every little bit of effort to help the Jewish community or people in need counts. From serving on YLD's philanthropy committee to helping others find meaningful ways of giving back as a Mensches in Motion leader, Jordan is an ever-present volunteer and supporter. Last year, he was recognized as a Volunteer of the Month by the JUF Tikkun Olam Volunteer Network.

Jordan also embodies an entrepreneurial spirit. After a successful few years valuing intellectual property at Stout, he took a chance and joined two business partners in founding Forager Logistics, a cross-border freight brokerage and logistics service provider -- while in his third quarter of the MBA program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, preparing for his wedding and nursing a broken foot.

Committed to supporting Jews nationally and globally, Jordan is a member of AJC and an ambassador for Israel Bonds and ADL.

YOUR BEST PIECE OF ADVICE:
“‘You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take – Wayne Gretzky’ – Michael Scott” It may be cliché, but it’s true. If you want to do something – switch jobs, start a business, move to a different city, go back to school, etc. – now is usually a good of a time as any. Sometimes you just have to take the shot and go for it.
