It is impossible not to see and feel the impact that Allie Block has made on the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center -- after all, she's the museum's event coordinator. Yet Allie sees them as more than events, but opportunities to fulfill the museum's mission to remember the past, transform the future and ensure the legacy of Holocaust survivors and their stories.

Allie created the museum's annual Race for Humanity 5K event and orchestrates its 2,000-plus attendance annual fundraiser, the Humanitarian Awards Dinner. She also recruited a group of young adults to form the museum's Young Professional Committee, which she runs alongside the Women's Leadership Committee.

Even with all these fundraisers, Allie makes time to support other causes close to her and her family including the Elizabeth L. Jokismovic Foundation's annual Bowling for Beth event.
