Greg Pekarasky

Greg Pekarsky

Greg Pekarsky is getting used to this list thing. A leading young professional in his industry, Greg was honored just last year by the National Association of Realtors as one of REALTOR® Magazine's 30 under 30.

Though he's a Detroit transplant with much love for the 'D,' Greg is dedicated to making Chicago feel more like home. As the owner of Vesta Preferred, LLC, a residential real estate company, he specializes in helping Chicagoans find their next real estate rental or condo and he is also focused on greening and beautifying Chicago's expressway, gateways, and neighborhoods through his work with Chicago Gateway Green. In his spare time, he hangs out with his little brother who he met three years ago through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Heather Korpella, executive director of Chicago Gateway Green, described Greg as passionate, kind-hearted and outgoing. "Greg, has inspired many Chicagoans to get involved with our 27-year-old environmental non-profit," she said, noting that he built up the organization's Associate Board from 30 to 62 members in just a year. "He is full of energy and wants to get the job done right and have a lot of fun while doing it."
