Aaron Tucker may not work for a Jewish organization, but he's no stranger to philanthropic work for Jewish non-profits. A committed lay leader of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, he helped found and currently co-chairs their Chicago Next Generation Board, inspiring his peers to become activists for the voiceless.

With the professional title of Chief Investment Officer for mixed-use and shopping center real estate developer Tucker Development, it's no wonder Aaron is equally passionate about strategic growth and investment in the Jewish future. In addition to his work with USHMM, Aaron serves as chair of the JUF Young Real Estate Group, a Next Generation Trustee of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, and also sits on the steering committee of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Facilities Corporation, which oversees numerous Jewish buildings including local JCCs and Hillels.

Shift even more time to non-profit work but continue working on development – I love it. And spend the winter tracking snow storms and chasing powder.

CHICAGO'S JEWISH COMMUNITY IN 10 YEARS:
The strongest Jewish community in the entire country, if not the world. Through the USHMM, I’ve seen Chicago outraise and outwork other major Jewish communities throughout the country, year after year, and it’s remarkable. The generation ahead of us here in Chicago created something special for us to continue to build on.
